This week we will be celebrating Australia Day! Woohoo!!! In Australia, January 26th is a very special day that celebrates the arrival of some of the first British ships to the island. February 7th is known as New Zealand day, so we will combine the both of them in a day-long celebration next week!!!!
We are excited to eat some Australian food, play some traditional games, sing "Waltzing Matilda", as well as share what we have been researching about Australia with the rest of our classmates!
