Field Trip to Tres Cantos

A few weeks ago we took a class field trip to Tres Cantos to take in the beautiful scenery and that wonderful fresh mountain air.  We learned about the nature preserve and why that area, specifically, is important for Madrid.  Whether it was deer, vultures, acorns, or the various types of mushrooms, we learned a lot and had a great time. To help remember the trip we've posted a few pictures from both 6A and 6B.  Feel free to comment and say what you liked best about the trip, but remember you must include your name and class number!

The Circulatory System

In science we have been studying the circulatory system!

Here we are posting a few links related to the ciculatory system. First we can see here the components of our blood.

This link shows how our blood clots.
Learn how the heart pumps our blood with the heart song.
There are four quizzes here that are very good to practice. How did you do on the quizzes??

Shaolin Warriors and their 5 Styles

Shaolin monks divided kung fu into five different syles which were based on the movements of animals. Present Perfect Practice

As we have been working on the present perfect here are a few rules about it and some exercise to help you master it.

Present perfect tense.  We use the present perfect to say that an action happened at an unspecified time before now. The exact time is not important. You CANNOT use the present perfect with specific time expressions such as: yesterday, one year ago, last week, when I was a child, when I lived in Japan, at that moment, that day, one day, etc. We CAN use the present perfect with unspecific expressions such as: ever, never, once, many times, several times, before, so far, already, yet, just, etc.

Check this site to know more and do the exercises. It's good practice for the english exam

Practice your present perfect for recent actions using alreadyjust, and yet:
